Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) is once again embroiled in public family controversy as his younger brother, Charles “Charly” Idibia, reportedly lashes out at the singer’s wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
In a circulating screenshot of an alleged private message, Charly is said to have urged Natasha to resort to “stronger juju” after claiming her previous efforts failed. The message allegedly asserts that Natasha “was never pregnant” and warns that she and a hospital involved in what is described as a “baby buying” scheme will face consequences. It further states there is “nothing connecting them.”

The claims come amid documented family tensions. In July 2025, Charly publicly posted an emotional open letter accusing Natasha of manipulating 2Baba by allegedly accessing his phone and social media, impersonating him online, isolating him from loved ones and management, and influencing major decisions, including a move to Abuja. He described her influence as toxic and pleaded with his brother to “wake up” and reclaim his life.
Earlier, 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, had publicly expressed concerns about a spiritual influence surrounding the beads the singer wears. Natasha has consistently denied any supernatural involvement, describing the beads as traditional royal family items.
The couple tied the knot traditionally in 2025 and later welcomed a child together. However, persistent online rumours and family rifts have kept their union under intense scrutiny. 2Baba has addressed some of the drama, emphasising his autonomy while calling for peace.
