About the movie

Toun is that aunt every Nigerian family has, an aunt who speaks in tongues every five minutes, quotes Bible verses for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and believes she’s the only one going to heaven. When her niece’s wedding brings Yoruba and Igbo families together, Toun arrives from the village with one mission – to “save” everybody whether they like it or not.

What starts as comedy escalates into full-blown tribal war at the wedding reception, exposed family secrets, and eventually a beautiful message about love crossing tribe and religion.
Abraham has said the character is 70% based on a real aunt of hers.
