Valentine’s day can seem like the worst holiday to be single because it’s the holiday of love. If you work or find yourself always busy, this is the perfect opportunity to relax and feel fresh again. Organize a spa date with yourself at a local spa and schedule a massage or facials for fun.

2. Binge watch movies

This has never failed and can never fail. If you have a Netflix subscription, stream the best movies you can find, whether romance or any other genre, and snuggle in a warm blanket. You can even get snacks to keep you company while you enjoy the movies.

3. Try out new restaurants

If you can stomach seeing many couples at restaurants on Valentine’s day, then check out the restaurants around you and try out their food. Think of it as a food hunt and enjoy the meals they will serve. Who knows, there may even be a valentines day discount.

4. Babysit and make money

If you have a lot of free time that day, babysit and make some dough. Many parents will want to go out for Valentine’s Day dinner and wouldn’t want to leave their kids unattended. This is where you swoop in and offer your services.

5. Get creative!

If you can draw, paint, write, or even bake, then do any of these things and get busy. You can bake glazed donuts for yourself to munch on or draw and a cute anti-love picture artwork. There a lot you can do on this day, including crocheting, sewing, or embroidery. Don’t let the pressure get to you. Being single is fantastic!
