Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye is celebrating another major digital success after her latest movie, Sibe, surpassed six million views on YouTube just days after its release.

Sharing the milestone on Instagram, an excited Ademoye thanked God and her loyal supporters, whom she fondly calls her “cyber family,” for helping the film reach the impressive feat. She described the achievement as overwhelming and expressed gratitude for the continued growth of her YouTube platform.

Sibe hits 6 million views on YouTube

“6 million ways can never be enough to say thank you, Lord. Thank you for this joy that I feel right now. Thank you for my amazing cyber family and most importantly, thank you for growth,” she wrote, while urging fans to keep streaming the movie as she sets her sights on reaching 10 million views within a week.

Sibe

Sibe quickly generated buzz among viewers as the actress had started Sibe as a short sequel 3 years ago before updating the latest episode as a full movie featuring Uche Montana, Uzor Arukwe and Deyemi Okanlawo.

The latest milestone is especially significant considering the challenges the actress has faced with digital piracy and copyright disputes. In 2025, her film To Be a Friend was removed from YouTube after nearing six million views because of a copyright issue.

Months later, Where Love Lives also suffered a false copyright claim that temporarily redirected its monetisation despite attracting more than 18 million views. Ademoye pursued legal action and has consistently spoken out against piracy, calling for stronger protection of filmmakers’ intellectual property.
