Say Hello! To Accra Fashion Week 2019
Autumn/Winter fashion has gone to bed in Africa as we say hello to Accra Fashion Week Chilly/Rainy 2019!
The week-long event will take place from 28th-31st March 2019 at the Luxurious Alisa Hotel. The fashion week has a long line-up of sponsors including Coco lounge, FashionGHANA.com and Tree of Life. Fashionistas from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, USA and many other fashion countries will gather in Accra to laud Africa’s newest fashion trends by the best designers.
The 2nd edition of the FashionGHANA Honours & Awards 2019 will be hosted at the show as well as, for the first time ever; the Accra Fashion Week’s Student Designer Competition which will involve students and graduates of fashion from various schools.
Leading Ghanaian brands such as Akinko, Afre Anko, Mish Mega, Abass, Bri Wireduah and more will honour guests with the opportunity to see the best in trendy clothes, accessories, swimwear and other fashion items. From outside Ghana, we are expected to see Zamarjesy (Nigeria), Tobams Colors (UK), Ebony by Bernice (Italy), Nina Sharae (USA) and a parade of others.
There will be time for serious talk alongside the fashion show because for the first time, the ‘State of African Fashion’ conference which will feature discussions by various celebrities in attendance. This particular event is exclusive to buyers and boutique owners across Africa & beyond.
