Acting is more like a calling for me- Muyiwa Ademola

Nigerian actor, Muyiwa Ademola, has said acting is more like a calling for him.

The actor stated this in a chat with Punch while speaking about his over 30 years in the entertainment industry.

He said “I have been acting for over 30 years. If I were to add my secondary school years, we would be looking at 35 years. It has been by the grace of God. The journey is not as smooth as it seems. But, I have kept my head straight, and I remained focused because I know my creative gift is rare.

“I had been writing stories since my elementary school days, and that was what motivated me to pursue a career in the movie industry. I thank God for where I am now, even as I aspire to do more.”

Ademola added “For me, acting is more like a calling. I feel unfulfilled each time I try to do something else, so I have made up my mind that acting is a commitment I must fulfill. No matter what else I do, I will do it alongside filmmaking. I am glad that my films have touched many lives, and many use lessons in my films as a yardstick to do certain things in their lives.”
