Actress Angela Okorie Survives Multiple Gunshot to the Head

Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has survived multiple gunshot to the head by unknown Gunmen who attacked her on her way back from a show Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Okorie had just performed earlier at the show when the gunmen opened fire on her Mercedes Benz G Wagon SUV. The actress was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. Moreover, the actress who is recuperating says ten bullets were removed form her head and two bullets close to her eyes.

Videos show Okorie‘s car riddled with more than a dozen bullets that seriously vandalized the interior of the car. The interior was filled with broken glasses and blood stains.

It’s unclear if the actress was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Okorie took to her Instagram page to post her brain scan. She accompanied the picture with a note of gratitude to God for sparing her life. She wrote:

“Undiluted grace will never stop to exist in my home. 10 bullets was removed from my head and 2 bullets close to my eyes. God alone deserves all the glory and honor. You are God all by yourself, I am a child of Grace… Thank you Lord. Nothing in this world will ever make me ungrateful for all you’ve done in my life and family.

“The assassins kept shooting for 30 minutes. No help from anywhere. No human came for our rescue. Only God came for our rescue #epaindem #protectmelord.”

It’s still unclear if the motive of the gunmen was to simply vandalize Okorie‘s car or worse but no arrests have been made yet. Moreover,we are sending our love to the actress. Here’s to wishing Angela Okorie a speedy recovery.
