Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has expressed gratitude to her supporters following intense backlash over her recent interview with actor Baba Ijesha.
The controversy stems from an interview with Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha, in which he addressed past rape allegations.
His comments did not sit well with many Nigerians, sparking widespread criticism directed at both him and Bayo for providing a platform for his claims.
In response, Bayo issued a public apology, clarifying that she does not and will never support sexual abuse. She has also removed the interview from her YouTube channel and hid it from her Instagram page.

Amid the criticism, the actress took to social media to express her appreciation for those who stood by her. In a heartfelt message, she wrote, “I see all the love. Thank you, everyone! God will never forsake you in Jesus’ name. One with God is a majority.”
Actress Bisola Badmus, amid the backlash, publicly defended Biola, praising her strength and urging her to remain calm.
The case involving Baba Ijesha dates back to 2021 when comedienne Princess accused him of sexually assaulting her 14-year-old ward. He was later convicted and sentenced to prison.
