Veteran Nigerian movie actress, Iyabo Ojo, has threatened to file a lawsuit against her colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, who is better known as Baba Ijesha, following statements he made about her children.
The recent development is coming after Baba Ijesha featured in an interview on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast hosted by actress Biola Adebayo.
eelive.ng reports that Baba Ijesha, during the interview on Sunday, stated that actress Iyabo once entrusted her children to his care.
He said this while denying being a paedophile, an allegation made against him in 2021 by comedienne Princess.
Reacting to the viral interview, Iyabo Ojo, who was strongly against Baba Ijesha during his trial, warned him to stop misleading the public with false claims about her kids.
While tagging the actor’s claim about her children as false, Iyabo wrote on her Instagram story:
“The court found you guilty based on evidence, so please don’t drag my children into this else I would direct my counsel to serve you appropriate papers.”
