Nigerian actress Funke Etti has explained how a movie director attempted to lure her into a sex-for-role dilemma.
In an interview, Doyin Kukoyi revealed that she was on a movie set when the producer told her she would play a lead role. But the director said she should see him in his room, and she agreed, as she respects people in authority.

Funke said the director wanted to lure her into having sex with him, but she refused. She claimed he went behind her back to badmouth her to the producer, telling him she wasn’t perfect for the role.

In a similar report, Bimbo Ademoye recounted how movie producers wanted to take advantage of her curvaceous physique during the early stages of her career. She claimed that filmmakers wanted to stereotype her into sexual roles. Luckily for her, filmmaker Uduak Isong gave her ‘her’ first big break.
