Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has come under heavy criticism for sharing a video of herself dancing amid the mourning of late veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
In the video, which has become a growing sensation, the actress is seen rocking a colourful Ankara fabric as she dances and entertains her followers. In reaction to the video, displeased fans trooped to her comment section asking if she doesn’t know that Ogogo had died.
Reacting to the backlash, Bakare tendered a heartfelt apology, as she paid a glowing tribute to the late veteran actor.
The ac said she had just returned from a movie premiere and was unaware that the video had been widely shared and tagged.
She explained that her phone had not been with her for some time and urged people not to judge her without knowing the circumstances.

Calling it a “dark Sunday,” the actress expressed sadness over Ogogo’s death and urged people to be mindful of what they say during the difficult period.
Recall, Ogogo died on Sunday, at the age of 66. His death was announced by his colleague Jide Kosoko.
The actor had been battling stage four cancer in the days before his death. His daughters, Lima and Kira, had appealed for financial assistance for his medical treatment.
Following his death, Ogogo’s remains arrived in Ilaro, where he was buried amid family members, friends, and colleagues.
Actors Faithia Williams, Femi Adebayo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Toyosi Adesanya and Fausat Balogun are among Nollywood personalities present during the funeral.
