Veteran Nigerian actress Laide Bakare recently opened up about her views on marriage during an interview on the Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, hosted by Ayo Adesanya.
Known for her dynamic roles in Nollywood, Laide revealed that she doesn’t mind marrying multiple times if it doesn’t work out the first time.

When asked whether her perspective is influenced by religion, she said, “My religion doesn’t allow women to marry multiple times, but if I am not getting it right, I am not getting it right! There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyway.”
Addressing concerns about loneliness, Laide confidently stated, “Lonely? I can never feel lonely. I don’t feel lonely.”
Laide Bakare, who has built a reputation for speaking her mind both on and off screen, made it clear that marriage isn’t a measure of her happiness.
