Adebimpe Oyebade is Not My Wife- Lateef Adedimeji
Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, has debunked rumours about his marriage to his colleague Adebimpe Oyebade.
In July 2020, pictures and videos of their supposed wedding went viral with a lot of congratulatory mesages from fans.
While speaking on Your View, a programme on TVC, the actor stated that the wedding pictures were promotional shoot taken for brands. He however revealed that he is engaged and will be getting married very soon.
“We are not married, all of our photo shoots are for brands.” he said, adding that they are just friends.
He went on to explain that he is taking his time before marriage; because when an actor choses a life partner wrongly, it can affect his career.
“For an actor, everything has to be in place, You have to be balanced emotionally and physically. When your emotion is wrong, you’ll get it all wrong.”
The actor gained popularity with his first major role in Yewande Adekoya‘s 2013 movie Kudi Klepto. He has over the course of his career acted in over 100 Nigerian movies.
