Adekunle Gold Hints New Album Release Date

With multiple shows and performances over the past few months, singer Adekunle Gold remains at the top of his game in 2019. He recently hinted that his next album will be out sooner than expected, probably before the year runs out.

As well as hinting a release time frame for the album, he announced that the body of work will be titled “Afro Pop”.

Gold first teased the imminent arrival of a third album earlier this year, following the release of the fantastic “Before You Wake Up”.

“I am having a blast creating what I’m creating. I want to have fun, not be tied down by genres,” Adekunle Gold shared.

If “Before You Wake Up” and “Kelegbe Megbe” are any indication, Adekunle Gold is currently making some of the most inventive songs of his already impressive career.

In 2018, Adekunle Gold released his sophomore album, “About 30”, one of the year’s best releases.
