DJ Pretty Play, a Nigerian female disc jockey, has begun the much-anticipated longest marathon club DJ-ing, aiming to play non-stop for 288 hours, approximately 12 days.
The Guinness World record-breaking feat kicked off at exactly 7 pm on Tuesday, March 3rd at Bay Lounge, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, with loud cheers from nightlife goers, fans and the general public.
The timer started counting the moment DJ Pretty showcased her skills and began entertaining live audiences and online viewers. The attempt is officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the “Longest Marathon Club DJ-ing Attempt”.

The marathon will be monitored by GWR officials to ensure compliance with record guidelines.
The current holder of the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Club DJ-ing is Fabrizio Morero, known as DJ Faber Moreira from Italy.
