Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has taken to social media to throw heavy shade at her younger colleague, Regina Daniels, who recently alleged domestic violence in her marriage to billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Regina in a viral video that has become a growing sensation could be heard saying tearfully: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I’m nothing but in my house I am a queen,” while surrounded by voices of people arguing.
She added: “I cannot stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Although, we could not independently verify the authenticity of the video, the clip which has been widely circulated on social media, shows a tense atmosphere with several people shouting and appearing ready to engage physically. The cause of the altercation, however, remains unclear.
Reacting, Okorie who was tagged to the video by Nigerians, responded by mocking her younger colleague with whom she had recently clashed with earlier in the year.
Recall, Okorie in June went live on Instagram claiming Mercy Johnson was seriously ill. Though she said she had forgiven Mercy, Angela used the moment to criticise the actress’s spiritual life and implied that her weight loss was due to spiritual consequences, not slimming tea. She accused Mercy of wronging people in the industry without remorse.
Angela’s remarks stirred controversy, prompting Regina Daniels, who considers Mercy a mentor to jump in. In a series of Instagram Stories posted that same day, Regina slammed Angela.
“With all due respect, Aunty Angela, you dey mad! Abeg no forgive… we no dey forgive… no dey shalaye. She get pikin wey gidigba,” Regina wrote.
She also accused Angela of bitterness and reminded her of struggling with her lines on set until Mercy helped. Regina even dragged Angela’s personal life into the exchange, alleging the actress once showed interest in her husband Ned Nwoko.
Angela fired back in a video posted, attacking Regina and mocking her marriage to Ned. She accused the younger actress of disrespect and warned her to “stay in her place.”
In the latest development, Okorie via Instagram in response to the various tags, wrote: “Nigerians na me dem beat for ferrari and private jet house with 8 wives? Why una dey tag me kwanu. Oh chim Angelaaaaa”
In another post, she added: “God is good, somebody say all the time.”
