Controversial Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has stirred social media once again with bold statements about her relationship expectations, declaring that any man interested in dating or marrying her must first pay the sum of ₦1 billion.
The actress made this known through a post on her Instagram story, where she emphasized that she places a high value on herself and won’t settle for less in a romantic relationship.
Sharing details of a recent conversation with a male friend, Okorie said:
“A male friend of mine said, ‘Angela, any guy that wants to date or marry you, we will investigate him for two years before you even consider it. We must visit his family house, know his mother, father, siblings, and ensure there’s no trace of madness in the family.”
She added that the man must pay a daily “artist fee” just to speak with her, stressing the importance of caution because, according to her, many people now approach celebrities with hidden agendas.

“Everybody wants to blow by force,” she said. “And I believe him. So, before any relationship or marriage begins, you’ll pay ₦1 billion. I don’t care if anyone says I’m selling my love, yes, I am. Because the number of foolish people out there is just too much.”
Angela’s comments which has sparked mixed reactions online, comes shortly after her relationship with Oil Money ended. Although the cause of their breakup was unclear, but several online reports alleged that their relationship collasped due to multiple issues, including mutual accusations of infidelity.
Oil Money claimed that Angela was unfaithful and suggested that her interests were driven by luxury and material gains.
He also alleged that he spent over N300 million on her before she walked away. In contrast, Angela reportedly accused him of cheating on her with her colleagues and labeled him a liar and manipulator.
