Aramide To Be Inducted Into Grammy’s Governing Board

Afro-soul singer, Aramide is among 18 others, chosen to be inducted into the Recording Academy Governance Board of the Grammys. In a series of posts on her Twitter page, the songbird took time out to reminisce over how and where her career has taken her so far, as she also broke the good news to her fans and followers.

Aramide recalled when she started singing and how she just wanted to be heard, not knowing consistency would bring her this far. Aramide also revealed that she had been an active voting member of the Grammy’s Recording Academy for many years.

“And today I’m happy to announce to you that after being an active voting member of the recording academy for years, this Monday, I will be inducted into the Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs®) Governance Board. I will now be a part of the Governors for the Washington DC Chapter board,’’ she shared with her followers.
