Are Davido and Chioma Still Together?
After being spotted with Instagram model Yafai while on vacation in Sint Maarten, rumours of Davido cheating on his fiance Chioma have been circulating. There have even been speculations that the couple, who share a son, were no longer together.
Following the cheating rumours, many alleged that they had already broken up; as they are yet to wed despite being engaged and introduced since 2019. There were even social media users making fun of Chioma for Davido’s alleged infidelity.
This prompted Ibiere Agwu, the wife of comedian Julius Agwu, to question the logic of people dragging, mocking, and shaming Chioma “for another person’s sins.”
Rumours of a split between the pair have been around for months now after Chioma reportedly stopped wearing her engagement ring. Neither parties spoke on the rumours, leaving fans unsure of their relationship status.
However, Davido managed to spin the story using his set on the American TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Fans on Twitter are starting to recant their speculations about a breakup. According to them, the songs Davido chose to perform (Assurance and Jowo) are an indication that he and Chioma are fine and the rumours are false.
