Asake is bigger than all the singers in Ghana- Shatta Wale

Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale, says nobody in Ghana music industry has made what Asake has made.

He stated this on an X-Space with Serwaa Amihere, the TV host.

He said “If Olamide can out Asake on, and Asake is listening to Olamide because Olamide is experienced. Do you think Asake would not get there?” he said.

“What I am saying is, you know Asake is under Olamide’s label. So if Olamide is pushing Asake to get to a level and Asake is listening, do you think today, if we are seeing Asake there, he has not tried?

“Asake alone can not wake up and say he wants to fill O2.

Wale added “No Ghanaian artiste has even made it like Asake. Not even me. Do not bring Asake into the conversation. Nobody in this Ghana industry has made what Asake has made. So do not even bring Asake in. Let us talk about reality.

“Why would I have to make it up to Asake’s level? There is a Spanish artiste in Spain or the Dominican Republic that is making money that we don’t know. Do you know any of the Spanish artistes? Do you even know them?

“We are putting Asake in this conversation as somebody that has listened.”
