Asake, Young Jonn, Seyi Vibez among nominees for 2023 Headies Next Rated category
The nominations list for the 2023 edition of The Headies, Nigeria’s biggest music award, has been unveiled.
The Headies, established in 2006, has been instrumental in recognizing achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
The Next Rated Category nominations were announced by The Headies Academy on July 12, 2023.
Asake leads the list with his exceptional run in 2022, featuring chart-topping singles and his debut album ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’.
Young Jonn is also nominated following his successful year with hit tracks like ‘Dada’ and ‘Xtracool’.
Spyro secured a spot on the list with his popular single ‘Who Is Your Guy’.
Victony, known for his ‘Outlaw’ EP and the success of ‘Soweto’, is a nominee as well.
Seyi Vibez wraps up the list, gaining recognition for his debut album ‘Billion Dollar Baby’ that propelled him into the mainstream.
