Nigerian recording artiste, Ololade Ahmed, who is better known as Asake, has cancelled the Los Angeles concert on his ‘In God We Trust’ tour
Checks show that the concert, scheduled for September 6 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, has been cancelled.
While the organisers assured ticket buyers of an automatic refund within five to eight days, they did not disclose the reason for the cancellation.
“Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled. The Asake “In God We Trust” show at The Greek Theatre on Sunday, September 6th, 2026 has been cancelled,” the notification reads.
“You will receive a refund back to your card used for payment within 5 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days for the refund to credit to your account. No action is required on your part.”
The cancellation has led to many reactions online. Some people say the singer cancelled the concert because of low ticket sales, while others argue that tickets were nearly sold out before the cancellation.
The tour started in July and was set to visit 13 cities, with major stops planned for London, Paris, Atlanta, Toronto, Houston, and Miami.
