Banky W Reveals His Entrepreneurial Journey In New Interview

Bankole Wellington, better known as Banky W featured on the latest episode of “Under 40 CEOs – Drive Your Ambition”. The artiste shares his journey so far, talking of his switch from the stage to being in an entrepreneur.

Talking about his mentors and why he chose to tow the line, Banky shared; “Globally, the people I tried to watch overtime were musicians but also entrepreneurs. It was Jay Z, Diddy and a few others who took music and did so much with it. They’re the top 3-5 top earners on the music business but most of that income is not from record sales.”

“It is them being entrepreneurial enough to see what else they could do with their music gift. So I watched them and patterned my life, so when I got in the door through music I was able to branch out.”
