BBNaija 5: Here Are the Most Talked About Housemates
The BBNaija reality TV show returned for its fifth run on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Interestingly, barely five days of being in the house, the popularity of some of the housemates has shot up tremendously.
Some housemates have quickly become fans’ favourites and have made numerous headlines since the reality TV show debuted. Below are some of them:
Nengi
With 186,000 followers on Instagram; Rebecca “Nengi” Hampson has become the most followed on the social media app among the 20 lockdown housemates.
When the show launched on Sunday; the 23-year-old’s pretty look sent the show viewers into a frenzy and has since become a subject of controversy.
One of the things that made her one of the most talked-about housemates was because it appeared that she had lied about her age. It was discovered that Nengi had contested for Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) in 2017, as a 23-year-old lady. Surprisingly to fans, Nengi confirmed that she had lied about her age when she contested for her first beauty pageant before MBGN as she was 16-year-old at the time.
Laycon
When Olamilekan Agbeleshe otherwise known as Laycon showed up at the BBNaija house with a black jacket with neon lights, he found himself on the receiving end of ridicule on social media.
Things, however, took a new turn when music videos of the 26-year-old’s song surfaced on social media. It was quickly and unanimously agreed that he is one of the most talented housemates to ever grace the reality show. In addition to being the first Lockdown housemate to be verified on Instagram, some Nigerian celebrities like Reminisce, Chinko Ekun, and Sean Tizzle have publicly declared their supports for the UNILAG graduate.
Dorathy
Dorathy Bachor‘s physical attribute has earned her a lot of followers on social media and this has kept a lot of people glued to their screens. Apart from her sassy and friendly attitude; a quick view of Dorathy‘s social media pages shows the 24-year-old does not shy away from flaunting her huge bosom.
Ozo
What makes Ozomena “Ozo” Chukwu one of the most talked about housemates is a combination of his good looks and brains.
The first-class graduate of Economics caught the attention of viewers on Sunday night; while introducing himself to the rest of the housemates.
Ozo disclosed that he was raised in a home; where education is valued a lot and every member of the family is encouraged to achieve academic excellence. It is however obvious that the 27-year-old housemate is madly crushing on Dorathy; who is yet to disclose if she feels the same way.
Kiddwaya
Coming into the BBNaija house, Kiddwaya whose real name is Terseer Waya had described himself as confident, good looking, ambitious, and a daredevil who is highly motivated. He soon became the talk of town; when it was discovered that he is the son of a prominent billionaire and business mogul.
Amongst the many celebrities who have thrown their weights behind him are -billionaire’s daughter DJ Cuppy and Nigerian music legend, 2Baba. A quick look at his Instagram pages, however; shows that the self-employed 27-year-old from Benue is already attracting a lot of ladies. Although, we are yet to know if Kiddwaya has his eyes on any of the ladies in the house; rumour has it that that the billionaire’s son is in a committed relationship outside the house.
Ka3na
Kate Jones, otherwise known as Ka3na; grabbed the attention of the viewers when she revealed how she masturbated on her birthday during the lockdown. Nigerians on social media took on their FBI jobs; and dug out a picture of Ka3na‘s cute baby, which made fans fall in love with her the more.
While the majority of the BBNaija housemates have found their way on the show with goals of bettering themselves or finding true love the single mother of one made it clear that she has never fallen in love with anyone, and that’s the least of her worries.
