‘BBNaija’ house is a different kind of prison – Seyi Awolowo

Big Brother Naija star Seyi Awolowo shared his perspective on his experience in the Big Brother house during an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa.

He described the house as a unique kind of prison with extreme conditions and mentioned that he wasn’t fully aware of what he was saying during certain moments, like when he made controversial statements.

Awolowo explained that he joined the show for self-marketing and fundraising for future projects.

“Life is a double-edged sword, if you don’t take the risk how would you know you go and then in these times you always you always go for an opportunity to make yourself one sellable top-of-mind awareness more marketable. At the time I didn’t have any projects I was working on and I was open to marketing myself a whole lot better so that I could be able to raise funds for my own works that I wanna do. I’m tryna market myself,” he explained.

Seyi Awolowo initially gained popularity during his first appearance on Big Brother Naija in 2019, where he won the hearts of many viewers.

However, during his participation in the All Stars season, he faced backlash for making derogatory statements, which led to a change in public opinion about him.
