Big Brother Naija season 10 housemate, Thelma, has opened up about the painful moment she lost her mother.
The reality star revealed that her mum died the same day she gave birth to her son.
Thelma shared this emotional story during a conversation with fellow housemate, Otega, on Friday afternoon in the BBNaija house.
According to her, she was in the hospital, expecting her mother to come and see her and the baby. But sadly, unknown to her, her mother had already passed away.
“I was waiting for my mom at the hospital after I gave birth. I didn’t know she had died,” Thelma said with tears in her eyes.
She also spoke about the last birthday her mother celebrated before she died. According to her, it was a special day.
“My mom and her friends booked a hotel that had a lounge and swimming pool. They had fun, danced and enjoyed themselves. That was her last birthday,” she said.

Otega then asked Thelma what the biggest lesson she learnt from her mother’s death was.
Thelma replied, “One thing I really picked from her is how she took her time before making any decision. She didn’t rush into things.”
