#BBNaija: Liquorose confronts Emmanuel over relationship

There’s definitely a lot to discuss between Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemates, Liquorose and Emmanuel.

During last night’s live show, Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu decided to shake their budding ‘EmmaRose ship’ a bit. A question asked and an answer that left a lot to be explained. Ebuka asked Emmanuel, “A lot of your fellow housemates seem to think that your ‘situationship’ with Liquorose is one-sided because she’s the one into you. What do you think about that?”. Emmanuel responded, “I honestly feel that we’re in a comfortable space where we understand each other very much and that is enough for both of us”.

This reply didn’t go down well with Liquorose. Last night, after the housemates had played their late night games, she decided to bring it up with him. She faulted his reply and told him that she felt his response was political. “Your answer about us was political to Ebuka, that’s why I’m pissed. It’s the safest answer to give” she explained to him.

Liquorose also added that he made her feel and look stupid in front of fellow Housemates and the audience. According to her, it made her also wonder what he says about her to the other housemates.

Emmanuel went on to apologize about his answer, adding that he was being misunderstood. In addition, he promised to clarify the matter during his Diary Session with Biggie. “I apologize if you thought my answer was political, please don’t take it personal. I’ll clear the air about us during my next diary session.” he said.

However, Liquorose went on to say that she wanted the both of them in the top five. She also added she believes she plays better with him by her side and he pushes her to focus on the game, so a split would inevitably throw her off game. Hmmmm.
