Former Big Brother Naija housemate Phyna has issued a heartfelt apology for her past tweets, reflecting on the valuable lessons she’s learned from recent experiences.
In a touching statement, Phyna expressed gratitude for the new perspectives she’s gained, acknowledging that her eyes have been opened to the importance of humility and personal growth.

In her emotional apology, Phyna wrote, “Omo, my eyes have been opened, and I’ve seen a lot this period. All I can say is ‘Omo, just hold God tight.’ To some tweets I’ve made in the past when I thought I knew better and to those people that got angry, Omo, I’m sorry ooo. I’ve seen the light… If you know, you k me.”
The apology comes as Phyna’s family are experiencing a challenging time following her sister Ruth’s accident. On August 13, 2025, Ruth was struck by a Dangote truck driven by an allegedly underage and unlicensed driver near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, resulting in the loss of a leg.
Phyna has been vocal about seeking justice and accountability from the Dangote Group, which initially promised to cover Ruth’s treatment costs, including flying her abroad for further care. However, Phyna claims the company later reneged on their promise, leaving her family to bear the burden.
