BBNaija: What Housemates Told Biggie During Their First Diary Sessions

BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ housemates seem to be already getting along with the game, as some of them have taken advantage of their first diary sessions to narrate their experiences since the show started.

Some of the housemates who had their first diary sessions in Biggie’s beach-themed Diary room, discussed their experiences so far in the house, what they think of their fellow housemates, their thoughts on the Head of house game, in which Nnegi emerged winner, their chances of winning the game and the lessons they learned from isolation.

Just in case you missed their first diary sessions, below is the breakdown of what the housemates said:

Ozo

His thoughts on other housemates: The 27-year-old stated that he feels like he has known his colleagues more than the time they’ve spent with each other, and the way everyone was cheering each other on during the arena games was exciting to him.

New alliances: Ozo said he sees himself bonding with Dora more in the house. When asked why? he revealed that it’s because she has a great personality.

Experience in isolation: He said he was initially excited about being isolated because he thought there was a TV in his room only to realise that it doesn’t work. He said he had to read the Bible so much and had a chance to clear his head. He also said the isolation made him ate a lot.

Thoughts on the HOH game: Ozo said on his part, he felt the game gave everyone equal opportunity even though it’s a game of luck. He further disclosed that everyone was happy that Nengi won.

Lucy

Experience in the house: During her diary session, Lucy admitted that the show has been crazy for her, and she’s been emotionally unstable. While revealing that she can’t wait to spend more time in the house for the fun of it, Lucy said since the show started on Sunday, everything about it has been mindblowing.

Thoughts on other housemates: The 30-year-old entrepreneur said she like her colleagues in the house, and she’s happy about the fact that she gets to have 19 more friends.

New alliances: Lucy disclosed that Prince and Dora are her alliances in the house. Giving her reason, she said Prince happens to be the male version of her, and Dora because she gets her expressions. She also said that she has connected with Tochi and Praise.

Thoughts on the HOH game: Lucy candidly said she almost fell down and was surprised she didn’t pass out.

Experience in isolation: For her, the isolation is like a vacation because she has been working all year. She said the isolation process was nice and it has made her discovered some of her talents.

Chances of winning: Lucy said she’s not sure of her chances of winning because she’s not so focused on the money, as she believes the platform is already enough for her.

Neo

Experience in the house: Neo said he loves everything in the house and he thinks that Biggie has good taste because the house is beautiful.

Thoughts on other housemates: He said all his fellow housemates are respectful, adding that he loves that they always have something good to talk about.

New alliances: Neo said he has connected most with Eric, Brighto, TrickyTee, Kidwaya, Praise, Laycon, Nengi, Vee, ka3rn, and Dora.

Experience in isolation: The 26-year-old said the isolation period taught him that he only needs himself. He also learnt how to sketch and he gained more confidence in himself.

Thoughts on the HOH Game: For Neo, the HOH game was a cruise, as he said it was fun, fair, and entertaining even though he lost to Nengi.

Chances of winning: He expressed confidence in his ability to win the show, as he said his chance of winning is high.

Experience in the house: Ka3na said being on the BBNaija show has been the most memorable experience of her life. She said she has always wished to be on TV, and the experience so far is amazing.

Thoughts on other housemates: She said she loves everyone in the house because they are all amazing and supportive.

New alliances: Ka3na disclosed that she is most comfortable with Praise because he’s proud of what he does, but she likes everyone.

Experience in isolation: She stated that the lockdown experience allowed her to read the Bible, boost her self confidence, and helped her become creative. It also allowed her to talk to herself a lot.

Chances of winning: Ka3na expressed the belief that in order to win, she needs to be real and open-minded.

Brighto

Experience in the house: Unlike other housemates who have been enjoying their presence on the show, Brighto said it has not been easy for him. When asked why? He explained that he lost his personal belongings, and that has been a challenge for him. He said even though he has been having fun, he’s also been finding it hard to sleep because of the lights in the house.

Thoughts on other housemates: He said the housemates have been playing safe, and with time, everyone will start to show their true colours.

New alliances: He said he sees himself bonding with Neo and Tochi, but he’s presently unsure about the ladies.

Thoughts on the HOH game: Brighto said the arena games are about luck and attention.

Experience in isolation: He said the isolation made him played a lot of games, prayed a lot, and read the bible. The 29-year-old said he felt it was hard to keep time because there were no clocks, but he also realised that nothing is impossible to do.

Chances of winning: Brighto said his chance of winning is 50/50 because everyone is hiding under the shadows.

Erica

Experience in the house: Erica said the BBNaija Lockdown edition is different from what had been seeing on the TV before her time in the house. But she’s having so much fun regardless.

Thoughts on other housemates: She said the other housemates are very true, but she’s sure they will teach her tolerance.

New Alliances: Erica feels that she is most likely to be more closer to Neo and Dora.

Thoughts on the HOH game: She said the Head of House game was annoying because it’s strictly based on luck.

Experience in isolation: The 26-year-old said she read the Bible, felt like she was going crazy but she also had a lot of fun with herself even though she craved human contact.

Chances of winning: Despite admitting she’s not the most qualified to win, Erica said she’s very positive that she will make it to the last day of the show.

Kiddwaya

Experience in the house: He said loves the feeling of being a BBNaija housemate because it was similar to when he was in boarding school.

Thoughts on other housemates: Kiddwaya said he thinks his colleagues in the house are all similar and they all have cool vibes.

New alliances: He said he sees himself bonding with Tochi and Eric.

Thoughts on the HOH game: Kiddwaya said the game caught him by surprise, but he thought it was fair since it was based on luck.

Experience in isolation: The billionaire’s son said the isolation period for him was revealing. It was a meditation journey for him, as it was the right time for him to be without his phone. He said he prayed, read his bible, and got to know himself more. He added that the process is something he would repeat sometime in the future.

Chances of winning: Kiddwaya said he takes each day as it comes and he’s just happy to be on the BBNaija show. He revealed that he’s just enjoying the process and journey rather than the destination.

Eric

Experience in the house: Eric stated that it has been fun and there is so much to look forward to.

Thoughts on other housemates: He said everyone has something to say, adding that he enjoys talking to his colleagues in the house because they are all special.

New alliances: Eric said he is beginning to form alliances with Erica, Lilo, Neo, and Praise because they always have something to talk about and he enjoys their company.

Thoughts on the HOH game: He feels the HOH game was fun and that he did well.

Experience in isolation: Eric said the isolation was more of a discovery experience for him, and he had a lot of mood changes, which he admitted was good.

Chances of winning: He thinks he has a good chance of winning and that his confidence is sky-high.

Wathoni

Experience in the house: Wathoni said despite the fact that the feeling has been fine.

Thoughts on other housemates: She admitted that the other housemates are amazing but she needs to get to know some people more.

New alliances: Wathoni said she’s likely to bond with Nengi because she is cool and TrickyTee because he has a good vibe and makes her laugh.

Experience in isolation: While acknowledging that the isolation process has made her realised she can survive without her phone, Wathoni said she also learnt that nothing can get her into depression.

Thoughts on the HOH game: She said the dice is the game and it’s just a game of chance.

Chances of Winning: Wathony stated that she has 100% chances of winning the show.

Nengi

Experience in the house: Nnegi expressed excitement for being the Lockdown edition’s first Head of House.

Thoughts on other housemates: She said she likes the other housemates’ vibes and everybody has something to offer.

New alliances: Nnegi said she sees herself bonding with Tricky Tee, Ozo, Kiddwaya, and Erica. She added that she also really likes Wathoni even though she’s been distant.

Experience in isolation: For the first five days, Nnegi said the experience was boring to her. She explained that it ended up being a period of self-discovery.

Thoughts on the HOH game: Nnegi said she loved the Head of House game and she really enjoyed it.

Chances of Winning: She described her chances of winning season 5 of the BBNaija show as a 101% chance of winning.
