BBNaija’s Khafi and Gedoni Wed in Private Ceremony
Khafi and Gedoni, two former housemates of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, are officially husband and wife.
The pair each confirmed their marriage on social media sharing a photo from the big day.
“How it started vs How it’s Going Happy Married Life to us,” Khafi captioned the pictures.
In another post on Instagram, she added: “On this day last year I woke up engaged to the love of my life. The worst thing happened this year but through the tears and sorrow the best also happened too, and that is signing on the dotted line to spending the rest of my life with you. We couldn’t celebrate this year (next year loading!) but genuinely, I celebrate and thank God every day for you @Gedoni. Cheers to married life #MrsEkpataLoaded.”
Similarly, Gedoni wrote: “A year ago she said “YES” and some months later she said “YES” again, this time to FOREVER. It’s not been an easy year especially for you. You lost your(our) brother and Covid19 happened. Amidst all these heaviness and heartbreaks you still love and LOVE DEEPLY. I don’t take you for granted IYAWO MI @acupofkhafi and I’ll love you forever.”
Two months after the fourth edition of the Big Brother Nigeria reality show, Gedoni proposed to Khafi. He proposed on Christmas Day while the lovebirds were on a vacation in Cape Verde.
Sadly, on April 4 Khafi and Gedoni cancelled their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
