BBNaija’s Vee mourns late grandfather
2020 Big Brother Naija housemate, Vee Iye, is mourning the death of her grandfather.
The reality TV star, taking to her Instagram story on Tuesday, announced the death of grandfather.
She said that she wished her late grandfather spent more time with her before his death; further stating that she would miss him.
She wrote “My favourite man. I’m not said because heaven is your home now. I wish we had more time together. I’m gonna miss you so much granddad.”
Born and raised in London, Vee emerged one of the finalists at the 2020 Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition.
In February, the reality tv star confirmed her break up with Neo, fellow housemate.
Vee wrote on her Instagram page “soft & single”.
The couple kick started their relationship during the fifth edition of the reality TV show. Their love story was also one of the many topical issues that headlined the 2020 season of the BBNaija.
In October 2020, Neo explained his relationship status with Vee in a chat with The Nation.
He said “Myself and Vee are really cool, I’m sure everybody is trying to find out what is going to be the next step or next thing. I’m happy everyone understands that what is there is there between us and we are where we are right now but the thing is that after house, we are tied up trying to get it on and find our feet individually so everyone is trying to make the money and time is running fast and we’ve not had time to see eye to eye and everyone is trying to make their brand work and we don’t want to put the relationship forward at the moment.
“Now we are out, we are seeing how our lives have changed and we need to capitalise on that before time runs out but every other thing will fall in place.”
