Best-Dressed Celebrities at the 2019 Met Gala
The 2019 Met Gala took place last night and the most fashionable celebrities stepped out in singles at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for a night of fashion and art.
Over the years there have been a number of unforgettable looks like Rihanna’s Pope-inspired silver frock last year which was created by Comme des Garçons. It is fashion moments like this that had us looking forward to this event.
This year the theme is “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” and believe us, the stars took the theme and did it justice.
Lady Gaga, co-chair of the event, was a major standout on the red carpet. She kicked off the night in a Maxwell hot pink gown before changing into a black gown by the designer with an umbrella accessory and then followed it up with two more fierce looks before moving down the carpet.
Billy Porter from TV Show “Pose” arrived in The Blonds’ Egyptian-approved golden look, featuring 10ft long gold wings, and co-chair Harry Styles looked exceptional in a cheer Gucci blouse and slacks – just the right amount of both.
Celine Dion was stunning in her Cher-inspired look, Kendall and Kylie Jenner made Versace look good and what was that fire outfit Serena Williams had on?! She paired her yellowy gown with a pair of Nike; a perfect mix of fashion, branding and comfort.
