Beverly Naya Discusses her Favourite Character
British-Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has discussed her favourite character in movies, saying she likes a character that encompasses a variety of different emotions.
Speaking with reality TV star, Uti Nwachukwu, on Africa Magic, the actress said she loves deep and compelling roles, adding that she likes a character with mix of emotions.
According to Naya, a character that takes her away from her personality is what she admires a lot.
Her words: “I love deep and compelling roles. I always say that I love a character that takes me away from who I am as a person, is exactly the type of character I will run after. That’s the truth!
“Some people have watched a film called, In Sickness and In Health. That film was about domestic abuse and the character was rich; a very well-rounded character that has a lot of range and depth.
“I love characters that have a variety of things like tears, joy, happiness, fear, sadness, and bravery. I love hard work when it comes to acting and I know these things are tasking but I don’t mind.”
