Beyonce’s Netflix Deal Cost Over $60m

While the world is the gushing over Beyonce’s “Homecoming” documentary on Netflix, reports have it that Queen B has more work coming on Netflix.

According to Variety, Beyonce’s behind-the-scenes documentary, album and few more projects in the pipeline are worth over $60m; the documentary and album costing about $20m in installment.

The report has it that Queen B is working on two more projects with the online streaming giant, however, no representative from either Beyonce’s camp or that of Netflix has commented on the news.

HBO was also interested in the documentary of the 2016 film “Lemonade” as well as 2014 “On the Run Tour” concert with Jay-Z and 2013 documentary “Life Is But a Dream” was aired on the cable network. When Netflix came with a sweeter offer, they backed down and have since not made any comments on their decision.

It is popular knowledge that Beyonce does not grant interviews regularly so watching the documentary gave her fans and the world a good insight on what her private is like. For scope of what her life is like, she can be quoted to say “What people don’t see is the sacrifice. I definitely pushed myself further than I knew I could. And I learned a very valuable lesson. I will never, never push myself that far again.”
