Big Brother Naija says heartfelt goodbye to lockdown housemates

A premiere date for a new season of fan favorite reality show, Big Brother Naija has finally been announced.

However, before the season launches, Big Brother wrote a heartfelt letter to the housemates from the lockdown season. In the letter, the ever seeing being thanked the housemates for the excitement and entertainment they brought.

“Dear #BBNaija Lockdown Housemate, 

While this wasn’t your first rodeo with a Lockdown after the world shut down due to Covid-19, we hope your stay in the Big Brother House was as memorable for you as it was for us. 

You may be wondering why we are writing you this letter. Well, it is almost one full year since season 5 launched, so we would like to take this time to celebrate and share our gratitude for all your contributions to the success of #BBNaija Lockdown. 

Thank you for being entertaining and most importantly for sharing every euphoric high and poignant low in the House. We loved all the laughs, the romance, the fights and even the sad moments when you left on Eviction night. “

Here’s a quick run through on some of what went down this season.

The sixth season of Big Brother Naija is set to kick of with a special double launch show on Saturday, 24 July and Sunday, 25 July 2021!

A statement from the organisers read,

“For its sixth season, BBNaija will feature a special double launch show on Saturday, 24 July and Sunday, 25 July 2021. Both shows will air from 7pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 with a simulcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban and Africa Magic Family. And for the first time ever, fans in the United Kingdom will have access to the live 24/7 show via African online streaming service, Showmax.”
