BON Awards To Mark Children’s Day With Virtual Event

Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards have announced a virtual event to celebrate this year children’s day.

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, event organizers have sought alternatives to in-person gatherings both for awards and shows that would have required real-time presence.

To make this year’s children’s day a remarkable one, organizers of Best of Nollywood awards, BON, have scheduled a virtual event to bring celebrities to their young fans via video calls.

To be eligible, interested participants should follow @bestofnollwood on Instagram, and DM their mobile lines.

Best of Nollywood executive producer, Seun Oloketuyi confirmed the virtual event in a statement below.

Good afternoon,

It is 48hours to Children’s Day but due to the Coronavirus pandemic the world is battling with, there will not be all the different events to mark the day including the annual BON Awards Children’s Day Reading.

However, we, at the Best of Nollywood; have put together a 4-hour virtual event where a child’s favourite actor will video-call them.

All you have to do is simply follow the handle @bestofnollywood on Instagram and DM us your numbers.

This too shall pass and we will all be safe.
