Controversial journalist Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has stirred reactions after disclosing alarming details about socialite Sam Larry’s condition following a serious road accident on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
In a video shared on her platforms, Olunloyo claimed that Sam Larry, who survived the crash that claimed the life of his bouncer, is currently in a very critical condition.
According to her, doctors may have no choice but to amputate both of his legs to save his life. She also revealed that he suffered severe head injuries and a broken neck.

“Sometimes, doctors have to amputate limbs just to save a life,” Olunloyo stated, adding that the situation made her think of the late Mohbad and the possibility of Sam Larry spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
She noted that her information came from a trusted source and that, at the time of recording, she had not received confirmation whether the double amputation had been carried out.
Olunloyo emphasized that she does not wish death upon him and called for prayers for his recovery and the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
The revelation has triggered reactions from netizens. Some Nigerians urged caution, stressing that the claims are yet to be verified by Sam Larry’s family or medical authorities.
Others have accused the journalist of sensationalism. As of now, no confirmation has been issued by the hospital or Sam Larry’s camp. The situation remains developing.
