Controversial Nigerian social media commentator, Oyemykke whose real name is Abisoye Olukoya Michael, has raised eyebrows following the revelation about the number of times he wears his pair of underwear, specifically called boxers.
The content creator had shared a video appealing to men to take personal hygiene seriously. Some women, however, reached out to him to appeal to men to always change their boxers as some of them repeat the same boxers for three days despite the smell it exudes.
Oyemykke then revealed that he cannot preach such a message as he doesn’t change his boxers daily. He argued that this is unachievable for men. Some men, however, took to the comment section of gbemi post to inform him that they do change their boxers everyday

As expected, Nigerians including photojournalist, Pooja, took to social media to tackle him, calling him a smelling man.

Responding to the criticisms, Oyemykke shared a video and wrote;
‘I was at my guys Eid event yesterday and we brought up the boxers thing up because I need to start asking . Strangely, everybody changes their boxers everyday. Nobody claimed they repeat their boxers. Nobody claimed they stay in their houses for days and wear the same boxers. They claim they change their boxers everyday, that I am the one that smells.
That one did not pain me sef. One photography, you!!!! are you as neat as myself? asking ‘what kind of man doesn’t change his boxers everyday?
It’s like you are mad! Are you mad? Ar eyou on my level when it comes to neatness? All of a sudden, every single man in the world, you change your boxers everyday.
First of all, do you go out everyday? because we have to get to this level? Do you people take your bath everyday because I don’t bath everyday. First of all I don’t leave my house everyday. If I don’t leave my house everyday, that means I don’t necessarily bath everyday.
Why will I then be changing my boxers everyday? Sometimes I am on this chair playing video game the whole day and forget I have not had my bath all day. I will take my bath the next day and of course I will change my boxers but making it look like daily I must change my boxers, its a lie!’‘
