Popular content creator and director Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi popularly called Isbae U, has joined the chorus of worried Nigerians calling on President Bola Tinubu and security chiefs to prioritize the safe rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers.

In a strongly worded message, Isbae U urged leaders to focus on recovering those taken alive, describing the situation as “the scariest” he has seen in the country. “I can’t imagine losing a child… Children have been taken, teachers’ heads are on a ransom. Something needs to be done,” he wrote.

Is Bae U appeals to President Bola Tinubu to bring back kidnapped students and teachers

The plea comes after gunmen on May 15 attacked schools in Oyo and Borno states, abducting dozens of pupils, some toddlers and teachers. In Oyo’s Oriire LGA, 39 students and 7 teachers were taken, with one teacher reportedly killed. In Borno, over 50 children were seized from multiple schools. Many remain missing, prompting teacher strikes and public protests.

President Tinubu has condemned the attacks and ordered intensified rescue operations, assuring families the victims have not been forgotten. However, public anger continues to mount over persistent insecurity.

As calls for urgent action grow louder, Nigerians are united in praying for the safe return of all abducted children and teachers.
