Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker Samuel Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the thigh during a filming session on Sunday.
The incident occurred under the Sango-Ota bridge in Ogun State, where the content creator was shooting a comedy skit. Eyewitnesses reported chaos on set as the viral entertainer was injured, prompting his crew to quickly transport him for medical attention.

According to reports, Broda Shaggi first received initial treatment at Blooming Care Hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before being transferred to Duchess Hospital in the Government Residential Area (GRA), Ikeja, where he is currently receiving care and recuperating.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, with police sources indicating that no detailed information on how the incident unfolded has emerged yet. A police source confirmed the content creator was filming when he sustained the injury, and an investigation is ongoing. The Lagos State Police have acknowledged the hospital alert, while Ogun State authorities noted the location falls outside their immediate jurisdiction.
