The song is a sensual slow jam addressing a side-chick in second person and asking that she keeps things on the low.
In the visuals, the camera follows the three singers singing and vibing off each other while pretty video vixens dance slowly around the set.
For Secret, Burna Boy drops laid-back vocals in Jamaican patois; bragging about his sexual prowess and his effect on the ladies. Undoubtedly, his song is definitely going to end up on many Valentine sex playlists.
Even before his dramatic entry into the mainstream, Burna Boy has been making great music and even greater collaborations. The African Giant has made a lot of crossover collaborations into pop, R&B, and even grime.
Maybe this is some sort of strategy; to get him into the consciousness of the fandom of the artiste with whom he is collaborating. Or maybe he just vibes with an array of genres and styles.
Either way, this song already looks like it will be a hit; and we can hang the plaque for Burna Boy’s successes this new decade.
