Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday, getting a memorable surprise performance from ace Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba.
eelive.ng understands that Burna Boy’s mother Bose Ogulu, in a bid to make the celebration a lovely one, treated her son and Grammy-winning singer to a special live performance by Ayuba at his birthday dinner held in Lagos.
In the footage that surfaced on social media, showed the moment Burna Boy was taken aback by the surprise. The singer, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, welcomed the musician with a warm embrace.
Burna Boy was surrounded by family members and close friends at the private celebration organised by his mother, who is also his manager.

Ayuba who began his music career as a teenager and released his first album, ‘Ibere (Beginning)’ in 1986, thrilled the audience with some of his hit songs which includes, ‘Bubble’, ‘Turn Me On’, ‘’Ijo Fuji’, and ‘Koloba Koloba’.
Fans and well-wishers flooded social media with birthday messages for the self-proclaimed African Giant.
“Happy birthday once again to Burna Boy,” one fan wrote alongside a clip of Ayuba performing at the event.
Ayuba, who turned 60 in March, is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern Fuji music. He was recently honoured by President Bola Tinubu alongside other veterans in the creative industry.
Burna Boy’s birthday comes months after he made history as the first African artiste to sell out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium for the second time.
