Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has announced plans to return to the London Stadium in 2027, a move that will see him headline the iconic venue for a third time.

The 35-year-old Afrobeats superstar shared the exciting news with fans through a cryptic post on Instagram, where he showcased a custom-made 60-carat natural VVS diamond necklace created to celebrate his two previous sold-out performances at the stadium.

He later confirmed the announcement on X, revealing that preparations are already underway for another landmark concert.

He wrote: “So excited for 2027! London Stadium III and much more announcements for y’all.”

The singer continues to make history as the only African artiste to headline and completely sell out the London Stadium, which serves as the home ground of Premier League side West Ham United and can accommodate up to 80,000 people during concerts.

Burna Boy first achieved the feat in June 2023 during his Love, Damini tour before repeating the record-breaking performance in June 2024 as part of his I Told Them tour.

His planned return in 2027 is expected to further cement his place as one of Africa’s biggest global music stars.

The announcement follows another major career milestone for the singer after his recent appearance at the inaugural FIFA World Cup final halftime show, where he performed alongside other international stars before a global audience.
