Grammy award winner Burna Boy, has shared why he arrived at the Benikrukru Christmas Carnival wearing a face-covering disguise just like that of music icon Lagbaja.
The free community festival, organised by the Esther Matthew Tonlagha Foundation, featured top acts including Phyno, Shallipopi, and Timaya, drawing thousands for live music, parades, and festive celebrations in the Niger Delta.

Burna Boy giving his reason said: “I said make I disguise myself so that when I explode on stage, e go catch everybody by surprise.”
Recall that the singer has been making rounds for different reasons. As reported by eelive.ng, the singer had received a huge backlash from fans after he chased a fan out of his show for sleeping. This action was widely confirmed by fans as there retaliated by not going to his shows after the incident.
The singer however apologised to his fans and urged them to forgive him.
