Nigerian celebrity chef, Tolani Tayo-Osikoya, also known as “Chef T” and YouTuber known for her YouTube channel, Diary of a Kitchen Lover T, has spoken out against the growing wave of viral content linked to private chefs and nudity, describing the trend as disturbing and damaging to the culinary profession.
The food entrepreneur shared her thoughts in a post that has now sparked conversations across social media. Reacting to recent controversial videos making rounds online, Chef T said it was “painful to watch” the industry she and many others have worked hard to build being reduced to shocking content for attention.

According to her, chefs who dedicate years to mastering their craft rarely receive the same level of recognition as those creating controversial videos for clicks and engagement.
“This recent private chef and nakedness exhibition is actually very painful to watch,” she wrote. “People who diligently do the work don’t go this viral, but people who set out to ridicule the craft and industry that has taken years and pain to build are getting attention.”
Chef T further expressed disappointment after seeing another trending clip online, adding that there is dignity in genuine labor and professionalism.
