Cardi B Steals Santa’s Job in New Pepsi Christmas Ad
Latin American rapper Cardi B renders Santa Claus unemployed in the new Christmas ad for Pepsi. The rapper and Pepsi ambassador stars in the new Pepsi campaign for their Christmas promo.
At the beginning of the ad, we see a young storybook Cardi getting no presents from Santa for being on the naughty list. Sick of Santa’s nonsense, little Cardi decides to take his job when she grows up.
Flash forward to Cardi B holding an encrusted Pepsi can and talking to her manager on the phone. Cardi is going to fulfill the promise she made as a storybook kid of gifting people cash regardless of whether they were naughty or nice.
We get a peek into Cardi’s Twerk Shop where the elves are busy turning Pepsi cans into cash. Then finally, we get to see the point of the Cardi Carol ad.
The “Money” rapper is giving back in Pepsi’s new commercial “A Cardi Carol” to help promote “Gift it Forward with Pepsi,” the brand’s holiday campaign aimed at celebrating and encouraging the act of gifting cash.
According to Cardi B, this Christmas, Pepsi will be gifting cash at random when you scan the QR code on the can. You can then decide to gift the cash to anyone you choose!
We doubt this promo will be available in Nigeria. Either way, enjoy the ad.
