Cardi B: Voting Trump Out as US President is My Top Priority
US rapper, Cardi B has revealed that voting out Donald Trump in the forthcoming elections as the country’s president, remains her top priority.
Speaking with Elle Magazine, Cardi B who’s known to be vocal on politics and social affairs, said she wanted Trump out as US president because of his ‘big mouth’.
“I have a whole list of things that I want our next president to do for us. But first, I just want Trump out. His mouth gets us in trouble so much,” she stated.
While lamenting the insecurity Americans are experiencing from the incumbent federal administration, Cardi B revealed her expectations from whoever will succeed Trump.
Her words, “I want a president who makes me feel secure. I want a president who understands the pain of the people. I want a president who is going to give us answers. That’s why I like [New York governor Andrew] Cuomo. I like him because he makes me feel like he’s listening to me.”
Taking side with Trump’s main challenger, Joe Biden, the WAP crooner, condemned police brutality and violence against Black people in the US.
