Charly Boy Ft. Falz in New Satire ‘God of Men (Fake Pastors)’

Eccentric artiste, Charlse Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy (area fada) is hitting the music scene again with a very strong conscious message criticising Nigerian fake pastors in a musical video God of Men (Fake Pastors).

Although, Nigeria’s most controversial artistes, Charly Boy took a break from music, the nonconformist entertainer is back big time, playing conscious music like never before and in a big way.

Bringing forward the music with Falz, God of Men (Fake Pastors) an Afrobeat genre of music is released today, 14th February. It is produced by Acesoundz and directed by Unlimited L.A.

The song inserts certain lines of Fela’s classic, Amen and has the movie star Segun Arinze as fake pastor.

In a country divided by religious deception and ethnic tension satires are a representation of the harsh realities, this simply being the details of the song.

Charly Boy released his first album in 1982, and later attained greater success with the release of his masterpiece “Nwata Miss” in 1985 with Polygram Nigeria.
