Popular Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy has said he is looking for a wife for his son.
The entertainer made this known in a post he shared on his official X account on Friday. According to him, his son, who is 46 years old, is well educated, holds a master’s degree, and stands 5ft 11ins tall.

Charly Boy explained that his son had once been married but the marriage ended in divorce. He added that since then, the young man appears to be scared of women.
The Area Fada, said he is now taking it upon himself to help find a wife for his son. He stated clearly that he is looking for a woman from “a good home with humble beginnings.”
He also insisted that only “authentic graduates” should indicate interest.
In his words, “My people, I still dey look for wife for dis my son.
“E don marry once, divorce. Now, e be like say e dey fear woman.
“Biko, if you’re from a good home with humble beginnings, DM me. He is coming next month.
“He is a master’s degree holder, age 46. 5ft 11ins. Very humble.
“If you’re not an authentic graduate don’t bother.
“I need to tie him to Nigeria.”
Charly Boy further noted that his son, whom he described as “very humble,” will be returning to Nigeria next month. He said his plan is to make sure the son finds a wife and settles down properly in the country.
