Nollywood legend Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has expressed shock at the hefty cost of watching a World Cup match at a viewing centre in the United States.
In a video that quickly went viral, the actor revealed that fans were being charged a staggering $30 to watch the game on a giant screen despite not being inside the actual stadium.
“We came to watch a match, not even in the stadium. This is just where they put the big screen. Do you know how much they are charging us? $30!” he exclaimed, visibly amused yet surprised by the pricing.

The beloved comic actor, who has built a massive fan base with his energetic roles, couldn’t help but joke about the situation.
He pointed out that even the car park cost $30, highlighting the overall high prices in America. Despite the shock, Aki admitted they had no choice but to pay and watch the game.

While some sympathised with the actor, calling the fee excessive, others noted that premium viewing experiences in the U.S. often come at a premium, especially during major tournaments like the World Cup.
